Home Depot names CMO

The Home Depot has named former Coca-Cola marketing executive Frank Bifulco to the position of SVP and CMO.

Bifulco has nearly 30 years of experience in consumer products and retail businesses. Most recently, he served as chief customer officer and president of Hasbro North America Sales. From 2001 to 2003, he was CMO for The Timberland Co., and from 1994 to 2000, he was SVP of marketing for Coca-Cola North America.

Bifulco will report to Craig Menear, Home Depot's EVP of merchandising. Bifulco will have full responsibility for the strategic marketing vision of The Home Depot along with category marketing and brand development. John Ross, who served as the interim head of the company's marketing department, will remain in the role of VP of advertising.
