Home Depot Begins Reminder Service

To help drive business to its stores, The Home Depot, Atlanta, is offering a free Internet-based reminder service on its Web page at www.homedepot.com.


To register for the service, consumers are asked to answer questions such as what type of dwelling they live in and what year it was built. They also are asked to describe their do-it-yourself skill level -- either novice or pro -- and are asked to indicate their specific areas of interests in order to create a profile for the automatic reminder service. The HomeMinder will deliver bi-weekly home-improvement tips via e-mail.
