Hollywood Video Stores Agree to List Inventories with ForMovies.com
ForMovies.com, Portland, OR, yesterday said that Hollywood Entertainment Corp. has listed its domestic store locations and each store's inventory of rental movies with the ForMovies.com database.ForMovies.com allows consumers to search video stores for movies by title, genre, actor or director and then find local stores that have the movie available.
The site also provides movie information such as cast, movie synopsis and, for some movies, a streaming film preview. A feature called the "Movie Wizard" provides site users with a list of recommended movies to rent or buy, depending on personal preferences.
The company's database includes 9,920 individual stores and 160,000 video titles.
