Holiday shopping drop

Retail sales tumbled across the board this December in what analysts have deemed the worst shopping season in five years. Among the few who saw increases were Wal-Mart, which posted a 2.7% increase in sales and Jos. A. Banks, which saw a 9.3% increase. Losers included Target, down 5%; Nordstrom, down 4%; and Kohl's, down 11.4%.
