Healtheon, EDS Enter Online Agreement

Healtheon Corp. and Electronic Data Systems Corp., Plano, TX, yesterday announced a joint agreement to handle payments between health insurance providers and medical practitioners over the Internet using EDS's suite of managed care software. The arrangement will enable quick online verification of insurance eligibility and authorization information.
