HDIS Acquires MOMS
Home Delivery Incontinent Supplies Co. acquired Mail Order Medical Supply Inc. from Shield Healthcare, HDIS said yesterday.HDIS, Olivette, MO, is a privately held direct-to-consumer supplier of bladder control products while MOMS delivers a broad range of healthcare products, including mobility and incontinence products, directly to consumers.
"Joining the MOMS catalog with HDIS allows us to achieve two of our primary strategic objectives: First, building our core incontinence business by bringing together key channel leaders, and, second, adding new product lines in senior healthcare," HDIS president Bruce Grench said.
HDIS and MOMS also plan to leverage their common competencies in database marketing and customer relationships over a broad array of products.
