Hawkeye Consolidates Shops Under FFwd North America

Hawkeye Communications Inc., an integrated marketing services holding firm, has combined several marketing consulting and communications agencies under the FFwd North America brand.

Based in Minneapolis, FFwd will replace the names of each constituent agency, stripping them of independent status. A single CEO will run the firm, and only one profit and loss statement will operate.

The consolidation is to provide better coordination within the network and pull down barriers. FFwd will offer services ranging from brand consulting to interactive, and data and information services.

Operating through a client service center network in the United States and Britain, FFwd will start with billings of $150 million. Clients include Payless ShoeSource, Kmart Corp., Sun Microsystems, Merisant, Alltel, Blockbuster, Schwan's and Bank of America.
