Harte-Hanks Acquires Avellino Technologies

Harte-Hanks Inc. said last week that it acquired Avellino Technologies Ltd., a data profiling technology provider.


Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Harte-Hanks is combining Avellino's operations with its Trillium Software division.


Harte-Hanks, San Antonio, will offer Trillium Software and Avellino Discovery as standalone products and as an integrated solution within the Trillium Software System. Founded in 1997, Avellino Technologies is located in Aldermaston, UK.


Avellino Discovery is used worldwide by corporations including Abbey National, EDS, Ford Financial Europe, UK Ministry of Defence, Old Mutual, RAC and Sun Life of Canada.
