Harte-Hanks 3Q Profits Up Nearly 12 Percent

Marketing services company Harte-Hanks Inc., San Antonio, reported yesterday $25.6 million in net income for the third quarter, up 11.9 percent from $22.9 million in the same period last year.


During the nine months ended Sept. 30, the company's revenues were up 9.3 percent to $753 million while operating income increased 12.5 percent to $118 million. Regarding individual business segments, direct marketing posted another strong quarter with operating income up 19.3 percent on 9.8 percent revenue growth.
