Harrah's Entertainment Wins Data Warehousing Award

Harrah's Entertainment, Las Vegas, has received the 2000 Best Practices in Data Warehousing Award from The Data Warehousing Institute in recognition of the highly successful Total Rewards customer loyalty program that is driving double-digit same-store sales growth. The recipient of the award is chosen on three criteria: the development of a practice that can be followed by others; its innovation; and the impact on the success of the business.

The Total Rewards program is based on information provided by NCR Corp.'s Teradata database. Both companies will be recognized at the TDWI Best Practices in Data Warehousing and E-Business Intelligence Conference this August in Boston.
