LAS VEGAS -- Guthy-Renker Corp. swept the boards at the Electronic Retail Association's annual awards ceremony held Sept. 12 evening in Las Vegas.The direct response television retailer won awards for Best Short Form of the Year, featuring Jessica Simpson; Best Celebrity Presenter featuring Daisy Fuentes; Best Female Presenter for Mari Winsor; Best Live Shopping On Air Guest for Tony Robbins - Get the Edge; and Best Long Form Health and Beauty Natural Advantage 3.
Portland, OR-based Respond2 Communications was another big winner, taking home statuettes for Best Long-Form Housewares for Down Around Pillow; Best Long-Form Intellectual Property for Rodale Inc's "The Sugar Solution"; Best Short Form Intellectual Property for Beavis and Butthead; Best Short Form Variety for AOL 2005; and Best DR Radio Campaign.
Online kudos went to Livemercial, Valparasio, IN, for Best DR Web Site Design and Best Use of an Online Marketing Tool.
Sylmark, Los Angeles, took Best Product of the Year honors for its Kimvo Dramatic Differences range of hair styling products.
