Group 1 Software released DataSight 3.0 yesterday, the new version of its data quality software solution.


DataSight provides enterprise-wide correction, validation and enhancement of customer, prospect and supplier data.


Group 1 said DataSight now offers more support for non-name and address data. For example, it includes enhanced validation, standardization, parsing, matching and consolidation of phone numbers, part numbers, dates, Social Security numbers, credit card numbers, e-mail addresses and any customer-defined data elements.


DataSight also has been integrated with Group 1's HotData hosted services, letting users verify business and consumer information via the Internet. New to HotData are phone append and reverse phone append.
