Grassroots Expands Candidate Services
Grassroots.com, San Bruno, CA, said yesterday that it signed two deals to add new services to its Web site. The political services site acquired NetFile, an online campaign disclosure service, and partnered with Voteworks.com, which allows candidates to build online headquarters during election season.Grassroots was founded six months ago as a political news site where voters can download video of candidates' speeches or discuss political issues in chat rooms. The company also offers fundraising services for candidates.
