GotMarketing, a provider of Web-based e-mail marketing services, yesterday introduced Campaigner 3.0, a service aimed at small businesses and individuals that can be used to create, send and measure e-mail campaigns.

The service lets users create campaigns without any knowledge of programming or HTML, the company said. Users log into a secure account on the GotMarketing Web site, choose pre-designed templates and add their text and graphics.

"Our customers tell us that creating an e-mail campaign with Campaigner is easier than creating a presentation with [Microsoft] PowerPoint," said Lynda Partner, GotMarketing's CEO. "Campaigner is intuitive. You just point and click."

GotMarketing, Campbell, CA, is offering a free trial of Campaigner, which allows e-mail campaigns up to 12 contacts. Pricing starts at 11 cents per e-mail for 13 to 500 names. One thousand to 5,000 names are 7 cents per name. For campaigns of more than 500,000 names, Campaigner costs about 0.0075 cents per name.
