Google Enhances Search Appliance With More Capacity, Functions

Google announced a new version of Google Search Appliance, which increased search capacity to 30 million documents. In addition, it has new and advanced search functions that are supported in 16 languages.

The larger document capacity is included and requires no customization. Even larger capacities are available upon request from Google.

The Google Search Appliance is an integrated hardware and software appliance used by organizations to find and share information on their corporate networks or Web sites.

The enhanced Google Search Appliance offers date and number range search. For example, people can search for terms and restrict results to a range of dates or numbers.

The product allows international administrative interfaces and documentation in Chinese, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Swedish.
