E-mail authentication company Goodmail Systems Inc., Mountain View, CA, said Tuesday it is partnering with Internet privacy organization Truste, San Francisco.

Goodmail also said that Bizanga, London, UK, which developed an e-mail and messaging system, the Intelligent Message Processor, would integrate CertifiedEmail into the IMP. The IMP processes more than 200 million e-mails a day globally.

The IMP with CertifiedEmail capability will be targeted to service providers and global corporations that want to process high volumes of inbound e-mail while ensuring that the e-mails are authenticated.

Meanwhile, prospective e-mail marketers who want to use Goodmail's CertifiedEmail program, and who earn Truste's Email Privacy Seal certification, can get a reduced Goodmail application fee.

Truste's Email Privacy Seal, which states, "We Don't Spam", is displayed on Web forms that collect e-mail addresses. Truste's reputation in the e-mail accreditation industry makes the company a good fit with CertifiedEmail, according to both companies. The CertifiedEmail "trust" icon is included on the e-mails of Goodmail-approved e-mail senders.
