Goodmail Systems Allies with Post X for Trust and Security

E-mail assurance service Goodmail Systems Inc. and e-mail security firm Post X have formed an alliance to address issues of trust and security.

The alliance will let marketers send e-mails to their customers while incorporating the deliverability of Goodmail's CertifiedEmail program with the encryption of Cupertino, CA-based PostX's Messaging Application Platform.

The Bay Area firms are targeting banks, brokerages, insurance companies and other financial services companies including PostX's existing clients HSBC, Charles Schwab, Citi and Aetna.

Mountain View, CA-based Goodmail's end will assure accredited companies that the entire message is delivered to the inbox of the correct recipient. The outbound messages contain a trust icon for recipients to identify that the e-mail received actually is from that marketer. The Post X platform secures the delivery, administration, processing and integration capabilities into a single architecture.

Both platforms can be integrated without having to re-architect the client's existing systems.
