Go2 launches pet-focused mobile Web site

Mobile-media company go2 has launched go2 Pets, a mobile site targeted at pet owners.

The site, created with Internet-development firm Genex, lets pet owners access thousands of pet-oriented Web destinations on their mobile phones.

Go2 Pets can be accessed free from any Web-enabled mobile phone at www.go2Pets.com. A preview of the mobile Web site is available at wap.go2Pets.com.

Go2 Pets includes information about pet-friendly outdoor dining, dog beaches, parks, campgrounds, trails, hotels, off-leash dog parks, airline travel policies and toll-free emergency numbers.

Purina sponsors the site, which includes tips for cat behavior, dog training, dog walking and pet picture-taking.
