Global Crossing Debuts Site for Wholesalers

Internet and long-distance telecommunications company Global Crossing Ltd. said this week its Carrier Services Division introduced a Web-based customer service site designed for wholesalers. The site, called uCommand, is designed to let companies control orders, network management, file transfers, billing and reporting.


Global Crossing, Hamilton, Bermuda, is in the process of building a fiber-optic network of 97,200 route miles over five continents. The company already hosts several Net brands including Yahoo, The Motley Fool and eToys, among others. Global Crossing started beta testing of uCommand in the fall.
