Givex Launches Loyalty Service

Givex Corp., a gift certificate management provider, introduced a Web-based loyalty service yesterday at the National Retail Federation's annual convention in New York.


Targeted to the retail and hospitality markets, the product lets merchants implement customer loyalty programs.


New York-based Givex also supplies services including customized reporting and promotion planning for merchants. For example, with a Givex loyalty program, merchants can collect customer information such as demographics, buying habits and frequency to help manage their program.


The technology behind the loyalty service is the same as that behind Givex's gift card program, so gift card and loyalty programs can be conducted on the same system.
