Giftpoint.com Affinity Program Looks to Be Free

Internet gift certificate store Giftpoint.com, Omaha, NE, introduced its Giftpoint.com affiliate program last week after selecting Be Free Inc., a provider of online affiliate sales channel technology, as its partner in the program's implementation.


Giftpoint.com allows affiliate sites to realize sales revenue by selling gift certificates from name-brand businesses such as Barnes & Noble, Olive Garden, Marshall Field's, Omaha Steaks, Planet Hollywood, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Red Lobster and Virtual Vineyards. According to the company, gift certificate sales in the United States are a $15 billion business.


Giftpoint.com was formed in August as an e-commerce solution for gift certificates online. Be Free is a leading Internet company focused on merchant-branded affiliate sales channels that enable online retailers to capture revenue by selling products in context on affiliate Web sites.
