Gift Cataloger Tamlin & Brown Acquired
First Resources Ltd. reported Feb. 8 that it acquired gift cataloger Tamlin & Brown.The Tamlin & Brown catalog of high-end gifts for "gentlemen" was created by John and Lisa Tamlin. It has a customer database of about 20,000 names.
First Resources, based in the United Kingdom, will publish its first catalog under the Tamlin & Brown brand this fall. The company has taken over the Tamlin & Brown Web site, tamlinandbrown.com, effective immediately.
First Resources is the parent company of catalog retailing group Scotts of Stow. Tamlin & Brown is the seventh catalog business to be acquired by First Resources since it bought Scotts of Stow in 1996.
