Georgia U.S. Data Buys Lifestyle Change Communications

Computer services company Georgia U.S. Data Services Inc., Atlanta, has acquired Lifestyle Change Communications, also in Atlanta, allowing LCC founder, president/CEO Robert Perlstein to pursue his newly formed promotional business, Sports & Entertainment Direct.


LCC will continue to manage and market lists and alternative media programs related to life transitions targeting new birth households, movers and new homeowners, newlyweds and retirees as well as lifestyle markets targeting health, travel and credit.


Georgia U.S. Data Services, which specializes in mailing services for all classes of mail, said the acquisition would allow it to expand and strengthen its direct mail capabilities.


Perlstein founded S&E Direct as a subsidiary of LCC, and debuted the new company at the Super Bowl earlier this year by distributing gift bags fills with samples and promotional offers to fans as they exited the stadium. The company plans to stage similar promotions at NASCAR races and a variety of golf, tennis, horse racing and marathon events.
