signs search deal with Yahoo, a search company that is part of IT Interactive Services Inc., has signed a search-distribution deal with Yahoo that will give it access to Australian- and Canadian-sponsored search listings.

Yahoo's advertiser listings will be shown alongside the natural-search listings generated by the vertical-search engine. Yahoo's sponsored-search listings will appear across all GenieKnows vertical engines and selected network partners.

"We hope to offer a more comprehensive and broader search query match rate to users and publishers within the search network," Harper added. will launch its games vertical version 1.0 in June, with a health vertical and local-search function remaining in beta form, which is expected to launch in version 1.0 in the coming months.

For marketers who use the business-to-business pay-per-click platform, the deal means they could gain a higher level of relevancy for the geographic areas covered by this agreement.

"The customer experience will be enhanced and amplified," Harper continued. "Yahoo advertisers will also have the benefits of being exposed to the health and games vertical search platforms - plus selected premium publishers - and result in extremely targeted and high-quality search traffic."
