Siebel Systems Inc., San Mateo, CA, said yesterday that General Orthodontic has selected and deployed Siebel CRM OnDemand, Siebel Systems' new hosted offering.


General Orthodontic provides product support services to dentists who wish to offer patients a new method of straightening teeth.


General Orthodontic needed to manage hundreds of new sales leads. After considering building its own CRM system and evaluating other hosted options, General Orthodontic chose Siebel CRM OnDemand. Central to the company's decision were the analytics capabilities in the Siebel solution that let companies keep customer data in one location.


General Orthodontic expects to bring 500 additional accounts online in the next several months and anticipates that Siebel CRM OnDemand will play a major role in helping it enhance service and revenue while minimizing cost.
