GE Parts Direct, a business-to-business Web site, is operational, GE Structured Services announced yesterday.

According to GE Structured Services, the site provides access to more than 300,000 parts ranging from motors, power delivery and drives. Parts Direct also delivers technical advice, support, parts search, personal catalog and other services.

In other GE news, the company's stock was down $1.60, or nearly 5 percent, at $31.95 in afternoon trade on the New York Stock Exchange as investors became skittish over the company's first quarter earnings results and accounting.
