Garden.com Launches Marketing Campaign

Garden.com Inc., Austin, TX, launched a new marketing campaign for Spring 2000 yesterday. The campaign is called "Everything Under the Sun" and will include TV spots, billboard advertising and a 51-page catalog. The goal of the campaign is to make Garden.com the only resource for consumers interested in gardening, the company said.

"Our research has shown that spring is the best time for us to acquire gardening customers," said Lisa Sharples, chief marketing officer and co-founder of Garden.com. "So we make the most significant investments in marketing now because as a company, we've always believed spending valuable dollars when it's most relevant is the smartest thing we can do to ensure continued, substantial growth."
