Furniture.com to Offer 3-D Product Views

Furniture.com, Framingham, MA, yesterday announced plans to begin using three-dimensional views of products on its Web site.


The company will use Kaon Interactive's technology and services to allow shoppers to access three-dimensional views of items and manipulate them for different views.


"Kaon Interactive allows us to quickly create Web-enabled 3-D models that give consumers the ability to rotate, zoom-in to and even measure photo-realistic views of our home furnishings," said Carl Prindle, Furniture.com's senior vice president, product development.
