From the DM News Blog: Children International Takes to the Streets

Nonprofit fundraiser Children International must be getting somewhere with its roving packs of seemingly college-age evangelists who aren't afraid to get in people's faces as they walk the streets of New York City, writes Senior Editor Kristen Bremner.

You can identify them by their Children International jackets and clipboards and the fact that they are walking backward smiling and trying to get you to listen to their pitch.

Admittedly, I usually feign iPod deafness and keep walking but I see them enthusiastically telling the people who do stop about the organization, collecting names and sometimes even getting a donation. Visit http://blog.dmnews.com for more.
