FreeShop.com, MapQuest Form Marketing Partnership

FreeShop.com Inc., Seattle, an online direct marketer and MapQuest.com Inc., an online maps and directions service, said yesterday the companies will enter into a new marketing partnership.


FreeShop will provide MapQuest's customers with travel information and a range of free and trial offers. MapQuest's visitors will be able to access thousands of brochures, maps and guides from FreeShop's Worldwide Brochures site.


MapQuest will place Freeshop and Worldwide Brochure's banners buttons and text links throughout the MapQuest site. MapQuest will also receive promotion on Freeshop's sites and will share in the resulting revenues from a co-branded page.
