FreeLotto's Click2Give Offers Winners Chance to Donate Winnings

FreeLotto, New York, an Internet sweepstakes site, announced last week that it was extending its charitable affiliations with the launch of Click2Give. Twice a month players who have won $1 or $5 cash prizes on FreeLotto will receive an e-mail message offering them the choice of receiving their winnings by check, or giving their winnings to one of the charity organizations listed on the FreeLotto.com Web site.

If a winner chooses to donate the money to one of the charities listed, they may do so by clicking on a link included in the e-mail that will take them to the list of charities. FreeLotto will then distribute the winnings to the designated charities. Among some of the charities taking part in the Click2Give program are Meals on Wheels; The King Center; Cancer Treatment Research Foundation; The American Foundation for AIDS Research; National Coalition for the Homeless; and Make-A-Wish Foundation.

According to FreeLotto, it averages between 200,000 and 300,000 $1 winners and $5 winners per month.
