FreeAirMiles Sweepstakes Increases Site Traffic 900 Percent

FreeAirMiles.com's 25,000-mile giveaway, launched on Feb. 15, has increased unique visitors to the site by 900 percent. The increased traffic translated into a 175 percent increase in new memberships per day, the company said.

"Our intention in putting this program together was to reward those members and visitors for their continued support in our development stages with a program that had values," said Glen Ross, president of FreeAirMiles.com, Huntington Station, NY. "We also needed to answer the needs of advertisers who wanted to reach our members and site visitors now. The response to the giveaway in its first week demonstrates that these goals are being met."

The company is planning more giveaways as a regular feature to the site, Ross said.
