Frederick's hires WhittmanHart for social media, Web marketing

Lingerie retailer Frederick's of Hollywood has hired WhittmanHart Interactive to raise consumer awareness of the brand via social media and online marketing. The company also wants to expand the number of customers visiting its e-commerce Web site, fredericks.com.

WhittmanHart announced the hire on March 22. The agency's “digital marketing services connects us with our consumers in a more personalized environment,” said Linda LoRe, president of Frederick's, in a statement.

Representatives from Frederick's and WhittmanHart could not be immediately reached for comment.
