FP Mailing Solutions Taps Michael P. Doumas as CEO
Francotyp-Postalia, also known as FP Mailing Solutions, announced the hiring yesterday of Michael P. Doumas to succeed Larry Turner as CEO of the mailroom solutions provider.Doumas previously was U.S. general manager of Texthelp Systems Inc., a Northern Ireland-based assistive technology software firm. He opened the North American office, establishing a sales territory for Texthelp's direct and dealer organizations.
Doumas' prior stints included stops at Riso Inc., a Japanese maker of high-speed digital duplicators and printers; McBee Information Packaging; Hermes Products; and Olivetti USA's Royal Imaging Systems. He will work with FP chief financial officer Andreas Drechsler and chief operating officer Tony Malak.
Based in Addison, IL, the U.S. arm of FP is one of the key postage meter makers along with Pitney Bowes. Doumas' role is to grow the company's mailing center solutions business. The market eyed is small- and medium-size businesses looking to tighten controls over their mail handling needs.
