Former "ER" Star Turns to Web for TV Support

George Clooney, the former star of the TV-show "ER," has assembled a star-studded cast for his live television production of the classic novel "Fail Safe" airing Sunday, April 9. But to support the event he has rolled out a unique online marketing scheme. It will begin with the launch today of a completely black and white site, FailSafeTV.com, which will mirrors the black and white television presentation. The stars of the telecast, Clooney, current "ER" star Noah Wyle, Harvey Keitel and Richard Dreyfuss, will then appear in a live WarnerBros.com Webcast on April 5. Warner Bros. is helping produce the Clooney TV movie. To round out the week, Clooney and Wyle will sit in on a 20-minute AOL chat session on April 7.
