Footwear and Fashion Meet in E7th's Wholesale Catalog

E7th, New York, a multiple vendor supply-chain solution for the footwear and fashion apparel industries, said yesterday that it has launched a multiple vendor wholesale catalog.

"We've used technology to streamline the process of buying and selling, eliminating up to 30 percent of the time and costs associated with transaction orders," Jay Margolis, chairman/CEO of e7th, said in a prepared statement. "This means buyers and sellers have more time to concentrate on increasing profits, building their customer base and managing their core businesses."

The e7th platform allows vendors to present merchandise online in a secure environment and to select retailers preapproved by that vendor. Retailers can quickly search the catalog for new styles and view high-quality digital images of various items that meet the search requirements. Buyers then can organize their orders with advanced merchandising tools, place electronic orders and closely track the progress of those orders online.

e7th has signed more than 8000 retail member doors that purchase $3.5 billion of wholesale footwear each year. In addition, 38 leading brands have already committed to using e7th for their wholesale transactions, including Easy Spirit, Via Spiga, Nina, Sporto, Nickels, Diesel, and Rocky Shoes & Boots.
