Firstlogic Starts Data Quality Blog

Firstlogic Inc., La Crosse, WI, a provider of enterprise data quality solutions, began a blog July 12 to educate business and technical professionals on the rapidly changing landscape of data quality initiatives, data strategy and information quality technologies.

The blog is authored by Frank Dravis, Firstlogic vice president of information quality. It is available at http://weblogs.firstlogic.com/dravis.

The blog is an open forum for all things relating to data quality, including personal experiences and commentary, market trends, answers to questions, project issues and advice on improving data quality in enterprise data management systems such as CRM, CDI, ERP and BI projects.

Dravis is an original board member of the International Association of Information and Data Quality, serving as vice president of partner relations for the new organization that educates information and data quality practitioners worldwide. He acts as the main liaison in Firstlogic's sponsorship of the Total Data Quality Management program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, contributing white papers and discussion topics.

"Data quality is becoming more important to organizations, so demand for information about data quality is at an all-time high," he said. "People want fast, accessible information about the rapidly changing data quality environment. Through this blog, Firstlogic can provide more insights into topics that are current, relevant and of interest to a diverse audience."
