Firstlogic Offers Delivery Point Validation Solution

Firstlogic Inc., La Crosse, WI, added Delivery Point Validation support to its address standardization, correction and enhancement software.

The DPV option lets businesses confirm that an address is known to the USPS as a valid point for delivering mail. The solution also can identify whether an address is recognized as a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency. It can improve address completeness by adding suffixes or directional indicators, thereby increasing address assignment rates and reducing the number of returned pieces.

The DPV data set is updated monthly and consists of more than 100 million valid address records as maintained by the USPS. It will be licensed as an option to Firstlogic's current offerings.
