Firstlogic Extends Deal Into Nordic Nations

Firstlogic Inc. and Component Software Nordic, Copenhagen, Denmark, expanded a distribution agreement, positioning Component Software as a certified distributor of Firstlogic technology in Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

Firstlogic technology lets organizations profile, correct, standardize and consolidate data elements as well as identify unique relationships within data to help organizations better manage and benefit from the information in their corporate computing systems.

The expanded distribution alliance lets Component Software sell, install and provide in-region support for technology from Firstlogic, La Crosse, WI.

In late 2004, Firstlogic and Component Software signed deals with Post Danmark, the Danish national postal service, and Vestas, a Danish producer of windmills.

To introduce Firstlogic technology regionally, several events are planned, including business seminars, in-depth briefings for prospects' business and IT executives as well as local analysts and media and a pan-Scandinavian campaign including a road show visiting select accounts.
