Firstlogic, DeskTop Mailer
Customer data solution provider Firstlogic Inc., La Crosse, WI, released Postalsoft DeskTop Mailer 6.0, the latest edition of the company's flagship mailing and database management software solution.New features include optional multiuser licenses, advanced merge/purge features, a new toolbar and 32-bit technology, which will aid in more efficient processing. The solution provides complete database management, address correction, merge/purge, presort and print options that are intended to help users save money on postage, printing and production costs.
Also, Firstlogic recently shipped Y2K-compliant software to customers who use its Postalsoft and i.d.Centric solutions. Firstlogic said the software will recognize that "2000" represents the year 2000 and not 1900.
Firstlogic also has formed a strategic alliance with InER-G, Denver, a data warehousing consulting firm, that is intended to create an end-to-end, fully integrated data mart solution for small- and mid-sized businesses along with enterprise corporations.
