Firstlogic Debuts Postalsoft Upgrade at Forum

BOSTON -- Firstlogic Inc. released Postalsoft Business Edition 7.20 -- software designed to provide easy-to-use tools for creating, managing and presorting mailing lists -- at the Fall 2002 National Postal Forum here.


The new edition is certified by the U.S. Postal Service for Coding Accuracy Support System and Presort Accuracy, Validation and Evaluation.


Business Edition is intended for mailers with requirements exceeding entry-level mailing applications but who may not need an enterprise-level system. It provides address correction and standardization, control of database management, presorting, matching and removal of duplicate records, and custom-printing options as part of its standard configuration.


Firstlogic, La Crosse, WI, said the solution costs about $5,000 while the Postalsoft DeskTop Mailer version for smaller companies costs about $3,000 and customized solutions for larger companies usually cost more than $5,000.
