First Union Selects MITI For Prospecting Database

Bank holding company First Union Corp., Charlotte, selected Marketing Information & Technology Inc. to develop a customer-acquisition database solution for three of First Union's subsidiaries, MITI said yesterday.


First Union Equity Direct, The Money Store and First Union Consumer Bank are using MITI's Acquire suite of services to manage a database of prospects to help them better target their customer-acquisition efforts. MITI is maintaining the database from its Andover, MA, headquarters.
