Firm Offers Web Analysis Tool Overseas

Usability Sciences Corp., an Irving, TX, firm that measures customer experience on sites using its WebIQ tool, has branched overseas with alliances in Britain and Japan.

The British partnership is with The Usability Co., and the Japanese with VLC, an interactive marketing agency. Both firms will use WebIQ to survey online visitors to gauge the effectiveness of sites and suggest improvements.

WebIQ's functioning is simple. Site visitors are asked to participate in entry and exit surveys and allow the tracking of their navigation through the site. After the target sample has been surveyed, the data are analyzed to focus on problem areas. The root problems are identified and improvement recommendations offered.

The Usability Co. will offer WebIQ services throughout Europe via its European network. The Japanese service is made easier by virtue of WebIQ being capable of delivering in Asian languages.
