Fingerhut, Worldnet Team For Internet Service

Fingerhut has entered into an agreement with AT&T WorldNet Service to provide customers with a co-branded Internet service. The co-branded Internet start-up page will provide access to Fingerhut.com every time a user logs on.


The service will offer Fingerhut customers Internet access for $4.95 a month. Fingerhut customers will receive up to six e-mail addresses, up to 60 megabytes for a personal Web page, instant messaging, chat, newsgroups, online customer support, a navigation bar, links to preferred sites, an e-mail screen to eliminate junk e-mail, child safety software and anti-space software.


No decision has been made as to whether the company will cross-market the offer through its catalog.
