FinalFour.net has been offering viewers a lengthy mix of news and other content on the current college basketball tournament, leveraging its deal with the online division of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, Kansas City, MO.


The seasonal Web site is the official sponsor of the NCAA tourney. The site has been featuring pages dedicated to each tournament team, real-time textual play-by-play of each game, statistics, TV schedules for the tourney, audio-video game highlights and analysts' commentary. Video footage of feature stories on star players such as Duke point guard Jason Williams also has been available.


FinalFour.net is a division of Quokka Sports Inc. Quokka, San Francisco, is the proprietary owner of TotalCast technology, which allows the text-based play-by-play coverage.


Financial terms of the Quokka-NCAA deal were not disclosed.
