FedEx Kinko's adds direct mail, print on demand

FedEx Kinko's has added direct mail services and print online to its document solutions for small and midsize businesses.

The company has witnessed the growth of direct mail marketing in recent years while working with its customers for the printing aspect of their direct mail campaigns. With its new offerings, customers no longer will have to work with multiple vendors to produce a mailing or spend time stuffing envelopes, folding brochures and applying postage.

"We are bridging the gap by providing the same services for smaller quantities, enabling small and medium-size businesses to have access to the same marketing tools as large corporations," Brian Philips, executive vice president and CEO of FedEx Kinko's, said in a statement.

The company's direct mail services include design, production, professional finishing, address cleansing and verification and mail processing. Print Online is the company's new Web-based print management tool, letting customers digitally send documents to FedEx Kinko's Office and Print Centers for printing. Customers may select from various printing and finishing options, track order status, reuse saved print jobs and review order history.

FedEx Kinko's, Dallas, will accept job orders of 100 to 15,000 pieces. Formats include postcards, letters, brochures and newsletters. The company's team members will help customers plan, create, print and mail their direct mail pieces. FedEx Kinko's also can help customers obtain postal discounts for qualifying mailings of 200 or more pieces.
