FamilyCare America Readies Caregiving Web Site
FamilyCare America, Richmond, VA, has secured $1.3 million in early stage venture capital funding to help supplement the final roll-out of its Web site. The company is already providing caregiving solutions over the Internet through its familycareamerica.com destination.Ron Moore, founder of FamilyCare America, said the first round of outside capital would allow the company to further develop the site with the "best technology the Web has to offer."
The company says one-in-four U.S. households have an individual care for an adult family member.
