Fair, Isaac Reports Record Results

Fair, Isaac Inc., San Rafael, CA, last week reported all-time highs in revenue and net income for the quarter and fiscal year ending Sept. 30.

The provider of data-driven decision support tools to the direct marketing industry saw its annual revenues grow 23 percent to $245.5 million while net income was up 17 percent to $24.3 million and earnings per share up 15 percent to $1.68. For the quarter, revenues rose 20 percent to $67.7 million while net income and EPS were up 34 percent to $8.4 million and 59 cents, respectively.

CEO Larry Rosenberger said expansion into the healthcare industry helped offset the negative impact of bank consolidations, year 2000 concerns and international financial turmoil which have slowed revenue growth.
