Fair, Isaac and Co. Inc. introduced advanced, transaction-based scoring with its Triad adaptive control system, a customer and account management platform.

Fair, Isaac said the advanced scoring can be used to predict credit risk, attrition, revenue, and bankruptcy within the account management version of Triad. Sixty-five percent of the world's credit card accounts are managed by Triad, according to Fair, Isaac.

These new models added to the Triad system improve the ability to distinguish risky from less-risky accounts by 78 percent, the company said. This is achieved by incorporating new behavior-based variables and technology.
