EyeWonder Offers EyeMail Video E-Mail

EyeWonder Inc., a provider of instant streaming video technologies has launched EyeMail video e-mail for AOL Time Warner's AOL Moviefone, GroupLotto and Traffix.


The Atlanta-based company said EyeMail features instant streaming audio and video that does not require a plug-in or a media player to be viewed. The audio and video open within the body of the e-mail.


EyeMail also offers real-time tracking and reporting capabilities. Metrics include number of videos streamed, the number of e-mails forwarded, user interaction with the video and length of view. The e-mail also contains embedded links and offers a "send to a friend" viral component.


EyeWonder said EyeMail can be read by any Java-enabled browser and automatically detects connection speed. It also can detect unsupported environments and automatically serve nonvideo default images.
